SIMPLETON HIGH CONTEST The up coming Simpleton High issue 12 is going to be jam-packed with robo-action! The story will feature robots, robots and more robots! Teachers and students of Simpleton High will battle in an all out robot competition and now is your chance to be part of it! Design a battle robot of your own and it could end up in the pages of Simpleton High 12! Come up with an original design of your own. You can make your robot big, small, wacky, silly, cute, walk bipedal, run on wheels or move with eight legs! You can even tailor it to one of the Simpleton High character! There is no limit so don't be afraid to use your imagination and go crazy with it! *Note: I will decide how your robot design will be used in Simpleton High issue 12. It may be part of the story or it may appear as a background visual. CONTEST ENTRY RULES All entries must be received by November 15. 2002. The entry must be an original design/concept of your own. One entry per person. Make sure to include your name and e-mail address along with a JPEG or GIF file of your design. You must have a name for the robot. You will also need to give a general description of its capabilities, weapons, and attacks. (and anything else you feel like adding) Colors for your design is preferred but not necessary. Send your entry to: simpletonhigh@aol.com PRIZES The winning design will be used in the up coming Simpleton High issue 12. About 15-20 designs (or maybe even more) will get picked in the end. So There is definitely going to be more than just one Winner! All entries will be posted on www.simpletonhigh.com website for everyone to see. TrashBot 3000 Designed by: JASIMONE Powered by 4 Hyundai motors it can reach a top speed of 12 MPH. Equipped with a 360 degrees robotic turret armed with carbonite hammer and gripping claw. Actually the top really isn't a robot, it's hollow. The kid who built it has his father or uncle sit inside the "robot" trash can to work the arms.
